Q.           How is merit calculated? Kindly let me know the split for calculating %age weightage (aggregate).

Marks obtained in matriculation examination:     10%

Marks obtained in intermediate examination:      40%

Marks scored in NTS:                                                      50%

The example would further elaborate the working:

Suppose a student secures:

1)      In SSC (Matriculation ) 630/1050

2)      IN HSSC (Intermediate) 660/1100

3)      In NTS he secures 60 marks

10% of marks obtained in SSC are 630/1050 x 10  = 05.74

40% of marks obtained in HSSC are 660/1100X40 = 24.00

50% of marks obtained in NTS test are 60/2           =30.00

The %age weight age (aggregate) is the sum of three =59.74.

This is how you can calculate your %age weight age (aggregate)
