- Merit based scholarships are available for eligible applicants.
- The scholarships are fully funded, meaning a complete waiver of tuition and admission fees. However, a nominal semester registration fee must be paid by the scholarship recipient.
- The cost of the PhD thesis evaluation and other admissible fees at the time shall be borne by the student if the PhD thesis is submitted after 5 years.
- The fully funded PhD Scholarship will be valid for a maximum of 5 years.
- For admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs of the CUI System, a minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.0 (in the semester system) or 60% marks / 1st Division (in the annual system) in an eighteen-year degree program in the same or relevant field from an HEC recognized university/HEI is required. NTS/GRE/HAT General/Equivalent test conducted by testing bodies accredited by the HEC, with a passing score of 60% marks. In addition, CUI may also conduct/accept NTS/GRE/HAT (Subject Test) in addition to NTS/GRE/HAT General/Equivalent Test.
- The merit for the award of scholarships will be calculated based on the GAT Test results and Academic Credentials. All other admission-related requirements must also be fulfilled.
- A minimum CGPA of 3.0 must be maintained for the continuation of the scholarship.
- All other policies and procedures of the university will apply.
- Uploading a statement of purpose is mandatory for the scholarship application.
- Successful applicants will be considered in the pool of visiting faculty as per approved CUI Visiting Rules/SoPs.
